The territory is encircled on the North by high mountains and so is defended from the cold winds. On the contrary, the area is higly exposed to the south winds, and when the Libeccio (the southwest wind) or the Scirocco blow towards the coast it's possible to enjoy the view of wonderful sea-storms.

In any time of the year the weather is pleasant in this particular area, the best place for thriving of the fig-tree, vine and olive-tree.
